Lucas
My mother complains that Lucas does not do anything useful - he is only concerned about the food on time and spends the day lying on the armchair. My mother blames my father for how he has raised him, but I know him very well, I adore him ....
Lucas is my dog.

The end surprised me. When I started to read it, I didn´t think that talk about an animal. It was really fun.

I feel that it´s great, it could be the first page of an enjoyable novel!
ReplyDeleteExcellent writing about a typical familiar situation nowadays, that presents a powerful imagery, 'Lucas is lying for all day on the armchair".
Despite the short length, I´ve able to meet the characters involved in the story:
- You are the first-person narrator; I´m afraid that you can be a young, whose attitude at home is more responsible than Lucas´ attitude and besides, you have some arguments in favor of Lucas´s reputation.
-The personality of the mother seems perfectionist and unable to assuming the shared, responsibility for educate to Lucas.
-Father, I think that spends time working outside at home, he loves dogs and he has domesticated to his dog well.
-Finally, Lucas, the protagonist, could be perfectly a ‘ni-ni, in Spanish’ or a NEET in English (Not in Employment Education or Training) teenager.
Am I confused about my inferences about the Lucas´ story?
Thanks and congratulations!

It´s a fantastic story! It manages to defeat my expectations because at the begining i thought that the father was lying all day on the arm chair, and suddenly, in the end is the dog which is only concerned about the food and spends the day lying on the armchair. I like it so much!
